Paramedics

Dave Dixon
Paramedics are a key part of our team at your GP practice. They are trained to provide clinical care and offer an extension to the services provided by your GP. Working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, paramedics help you access the care you need more quickly. You might see a paramedic for minor illnesses, men’s health concerns, or support through our CVD (cardiovascular disease) prevention clinic. They are highly trained to assess symptoms, provide treatment, and refer you to the right service if needed, making sure you get the right care, at the right time.
How can a Paramedic Practitioner help you?
Paramedic Practitioners can help you by…
- Attending home visits for house bound patients on behalf of your GP practice.
- Assessing and treating health conditions.
- Ordering tests and interpreting results.
