Medics PCN is a mature and innovative Primary Care Network (PCN) in Luton.

We are made up of the following GP practices:

PCN’s were set up to bring local GP practices together with other health and care services so patients can get more joined-up care closer to home.

This includes GP practices working with each other and with community, mental health, hospitals, social care, pharmacy and voluntary services in our local area of Luton, Bedfordshire. This group of GP practices is called a Primary Care Network or PCN.

A GP Practice being part of a PCN means there is a bigger team of staff to help you. For example, it may be more appropriate for you to see a different clinician who can treat your health needs and it’s likely they will be able to see you sooner. Our team is made up of GP’s, Nurses, Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacists, Physios, Social Prescribers and Care Co-ordinators. Our PCN can provide a range of different staff to meet the varying needs of our patients. To see what each role does in detail, click on “Team” on the main menu above.
